Experience
Transit Systems & MEP Coordinator - Broadway Subway Project
The Broadway Subway Project is a 5.7 km extension of the Millennium Line, from VCC-Clark Station to Arbutus. It will provide fast, frequent and convenient SkyTrain service to British Columbia’s second-largest jobs center, world-class health services, and emerging innovation and research hub, and growing residential communities.
- 700 meters will be elevated, extending from VCC-Clark Station to a tunnel portal near Great Northern Way.
- 5 kilometers will be tunneled below the Broadway Corridor from Great Northern Way to Arbutus Street.
- 6 underground stations will connect communities and the region, including a direct underground connection to the Canada Line at Cambie Street.
- The 99 B-Line bus service will connect from Arbutus Street to the University of British Columbia.
As part of the metro systems construction team, my daily tasks include both project coordination and interface management for transit systems integrating with station facilities.

Business Development Intern - SBU Tunnels & Railways
As an intern I helped demonstrate Acciona’s technical capabilities in tenders around the world, analyze the European market for potential medium and long term opportunities, as well as assist in the digital transformation of the business unit. In the position, I have dealt with people from different departments and geographies, as well as partners.
These six months have allowed me to understand the workings and complexities of a large multinational company. In addition, it has allowed me to get to know the infrastructure sector, which was largely unknown to me before. I might have become a tunnel geek.

Acciona Academy IV Edition Spain
For three weeks, professionals from Acciona and 3weeks have trained us much of the softskills needed in a professional environment. As one of the 40 participants in the programme, I also received talks on the different verticals of the company.
In addition to the above and throughout the course of the programme, in teams of six we solved a real case of the company. We provided solutions to make the Rapa Nui project regenerative: a step beyond sustainability where projects have a positive impact, both socially and environmentally, in the long term.
Analyst intern for Public Sector
Internship at Carpeta Ciudadana 2.0, a project commissioned by the General Secretariat of Digital Administration (Secretaría General de Administración Digital).
Working at everis for the public sector for three months allowed me to see how people work in the Public Administration and what it means to collaborate in a project that will affect almost all Spanish citizens. Carpeta Ciudadana was the prototype of what will be Carpeta Ciudadana 2.0, a much more elaborate platform that aims to be used for any communication between the administration and the citizen.
Following a working methodology similar to SCRUM, I was given analysis tasks for the implementation of new services. This forced me to ask for help from several members of the team (programmers, analysts, project manager, …) which made me realize the importance of communication between one another.
IT project on Resource Optimization
In a context of increasing material scarcity, Hermès Maroquinerie-Sellerie is committed to optimizing the use of its raw materials. In order to meet these new challenges, Hermès Maroquinerie-Sellerie seeks to facilitate the recovery of exploitable material after first use. The aim was to reference the available materials and allow exchanges between different manufacturing sites in order to produce as much as possible, without loss of resources and by limiting waste generation.
The project concerned the framing, design and implementation of a digital interface allowing these secondary flows to be controlled in an interactive, collaborative and instantaneous way. The proposed solution was to be used by manufacturing sites to offer materials they had or to request materials they needed.
In a group of seven, we tackled this problem from different angles and implemented the one we thought was the best solution.
Blue-collar Internship
At PSA I did a one-month internship on the DS3 Crossback assembly line. As an operator, I saw the engineer’s work from the last step of the chain. It allowed me to realize the importance of personnel management, as well as to take into account all the stages of a process during its design stage.
Electronics Engineer
In a team of 50 people, we produced a racing single-seat prototype every year to compete against other European teams at a Formula Student event.
Many hours of quality work and under pressure with a very limited budget to design, build and code the electronics of the car with the aim of improving its efficiency by 20% compared to the previous year’s car.
Education
Working on a project requires knowledge in many areas, from team management and dealing with clients, to technical, financial and legal skills. This accreditation proves that I have the right mindset to work on a project, knowing the interactions between the different areas.
Double diploma in Industrial Engineering and Ingénieur Généraliste
I studied the first two years in Madrid and the following two in Lyon. The hard work required at Politécnica has allowed me to acquire skills such as resilience and work under pressure. At Centrale, I went out of my comfort zone and had to adapt to a new educational system in a language I barely spoke.
International Baccalaureate (IB) and Spanish Baccalaureate (LOE)
I completed both baccalaureates simultaneously. The programs were similar in content, but different in approach, which taught me that every learning has several points of view.
At I.E.S. Ramiro de Maeztu I studied a double baccalaureate programme where we simultaneously carried out the Spanish baccalaureate and the International Baccalaureate (IB). Although taking 8 subjects in the former and 6 in the latter, which is onerous and requires extra effort and organization, the programme has not only given me the opportunity to learn rapidly, but also to do so in a more rational and profound way. The programmes are in some way analogous in content but very different in approach. The internal assessments required in the IB, in which we are asked to come up with different hypotheses, made me realize the limitless nature of knowledge and have given me the ambition to research more about the fields I enjoy.
