Who am I

The CV is great but, who am I on my own words?

Well, I have always been a handyman; I like to assemble and disassemble things, see and understand how they work, so I can then apply that knowledge to other fields or objects that I can think of.

Carrying out the International Baccalaureate allowed me to have a more global vision of the world, as well as to get together and relate to people from very different backgrounds. Then the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid gave me the opportunity to go study in a bilateral agreement of double diploma at École Centrale Lyon. It was here that I discovered Formula Student. I quickly signed up to participate at Écuire Piston Sport Auto (EPSA), an association that makes a car every year, and was selected. There, I worked together with 50 other students, in the conception and construction of a single-seat prototype that would compete that summer in two of the European Formula Student events. In July 2019, in an effort to have an insight about car production, I joined the Groupe PSA as a factory worker.

With the ambition of getting to know other sectors such as the supply chain or IT, I carried out a project for Hermès. During the 2019-2020 academic year, we designed a web application for the management and sharing of surplus materials between manufacturing sites. That summer, I joined Everis (now NTT Data) for a three-month internship as an analyst for the public sector. During that period, I saw from the inside the Carpeta Ciudadana 2.0 project, a government website that will be used by most of the Spanish population. I decided I liked working on projects, but needed the client’s product to be tangible.

During the next two years, I completed my studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid with a MSc in Industrial Engineering. On top of that, I enrolled a project management course, and I am now a Certified Project Management Associate. During the last year, I did a 6 months internship with Acciona at the Tunnels Business Development department. I think I did a good job there, because they offered me the opportunity to come to Vancouver for the Broadway Subway Project. And now, here I am, living 9 timezones away from Spain, working on a project to deliver a metro line extension.
